Slow sailing day

Very light wind had us going very slow for a long time today.

We had the asym up last night, but took it down before Steven went to bed so that we wouldn't have any problems with it in the dark.

We made 3 - 3.5 knots all night with the main alone in 8 - 10 knots of wind. The seas, which had started moderate (6 - 8 feet) were beginning to subside.

When day broke, we poled out the jib and went wing-on-wing, which picked our speed up to 4.5 knots. The wind picked up a little, and we made 5 - 6.5 knots in 10 - 15 knots of wind for the rest of the day.
