The Beautiful Anchorage

Ensenada de Los Suenos (as it was renamed) turns out to be a really fun, beautiful place.

We had a great time at this anchorage. There wasn't much there, but the beach was nice, there was a nice beach with not much surf, there was a good restaurant, and a great road for doing some jogging.

The beach here was a blast. The kids had a great time digging large holes, then finding various crawling insects and putting them in it to watch them try to get out. The adults did their usual beach-coaming and beer drinking.

At the close end of the beach was none other than a Giggling Marlin restaurant. We ate there a couple of nights. The food was very good, and the view was spectacular.

Eric and Steven did a couple of runs down the dirt road to nowhere (actually, the road went to La Paz, but it was the stereotypical Baja desert road - straight, fairly level, with cactus and not much else either side. The thing that got a little exciting was passing the cattle - the females weren't too scary, but the bulls had horns! They mostly just looked at you though!

Roma and Melissa did a walk down the same road one day. They took a couple of pictures.

All in all, we really liked this anchorage. It wasn't too crowded, and there was enough but not too much to do!
