Father's Day

After some fun beach time, we headed back and had a quiet dinner aboard, and went to bed.

In keeping with the way "holidays" happen aboard, not much was different on Father's Day. I got to sleep in, which was nice but not unusual, and then we did some school and played a bit. Gage had made me some trading cards with pictures of a cow, a lion, a bird, and a cat on them. Roma was unable to get the printer to work to print out my card. Leif wasn't feeling well that night and had been throwing up most of the night.

In the afternoon, Jesse from Zephera came over and wanted to go to the beach to surf. Gage, RJ, and I went with him. We had a tough time out in the short shore break, and got mostly pummeled. At one point, I caught a wave (for about 1 second) that Jesse said had a face taller than my 10 foot long board. I'm glad I didn't look back, because right after that I buried the nose and over I went. I had to sit out a bit after that one.
