Mondays aren't so bad
Horseback riding and swimming... not too
bad.
Last night we had a huge thunderstorm come
through pretty close. The ground hits got to be within a half mile. Luckily, no
one got hit. It's freaky having lightning hitting the ground so close to you
when you have a huge metal pole sticking up into the sky. I'm sure eventually
we'll get to the point we just sleep right through, but for now I'm up and
watching as they go by.This morning
Roma and Gage went with Sula on a horseback ride. Gage said it was bumpy and
uncomfortable and fun. I think he really had a great time.
I
stayed home with Leif, who didn't want to go, and we played some mancala after
he did his schoolwork. Then I spent some time helping a local learn some english
pronunciation while the kids and Roma went swimming. Later, I went on a run as
the thunderheads built in the sky again.
