Spear Fishing

Today we hung around the boat. The refrigeration guys came over and looked at the system. They had a plausible explanation: the water filter that is in the current system is saturated and no longer is taking the water out of the system. They said I needed to get a new filter and a bunch of refrigerant, which I'll do tomorrow at Liberia. They'll come back on Saturday.

Later we went over to Unity. Claudia made fried rooster fish that Jeremy had speared a couple of days ago. We wished Claudia happy birthday.

Originally we went over because I wanted to get some of their south pacific charts to make copies. I found a few that will work for us so we'll take them into Liberia tomorrow to get some copies.

Then Jeremy said, "Let's go diving!" Well, OK. We took his speargun and went out to the point. We free dove in 15 - 20 feet. It was my first time spearfishing and it was fun! It is so peaceful and calm down on the bottom, and you just hang out and wait for the fish to come in and then, pow! I speared a decent fish that we couldn't identify. Jeremy got two others. We'll fillet them tomorrow. Now I need to get a spear gun!
